Current Projects

I keep this page updated.  It’s a challenge keeping up with all my stories in process!

The Delaneys of Eagle Landing

The series is complete:

Savannah’s Second Chance (Novella #1).

Aurora’s Soul Mate (Novella #2).

Angie’s Reunion (Novella #3).

Hannah’s Billionaire (Novella #4).

For now, the bundle is on my calednar for January

Hearts on Pendleton Drive

This three-book series involves friends who rent rooms in an old Eagle Landing home. And I finally have the covers.

The first story is Waiting for Zoey. The hero is Savannah’s brother Jeremy.  If he wants to win Zoey’s heart, we hope he has learned not to share secrets. It will be out in November. And it’s set around the holidays. Yes, another holiday book I’m writing during the hottest summer days!

It’s time to choose the launch date in November. Since I publish on wide sites in addition to Amazon, I have to upload the final manuscript at least 3 weeks before the publication date. Some of the smaller online stores need that much time to get a book in their launch schedule.

The second book is Falling for Rachel. My editor sent me an eight-page revision letter, full of good ideas. As soon as Zoey is uploaded and sent to the Launch team (hoping for some reviews), then I will get busy with this story.

The third book is Staying for Jenna. That first draft is half done and on hold until Rachel’s revisions are ready for my editor for a second review pass

Shops at Loving Square

This series will have shorter stories. Low-heat romances around 25,000 words. That’s about a 2-hour Amazon read. It will also work on the wide platforms.

Still working on the first story, Restoring Dani’s Heart. It’s in good shape. My daughter is my beta reader to see if the story holds together. With eight stories planned, I can’t afford to pay my editor to read these shorter stories.

And I need to learn to make my own covers. My cover designer made a series of videos that are challenging for low-tech Jan, but I’m trying to follow along to learn how to do my own for the short-read series.

Remember Zach Kasper, the computer guru from the holiday series? His friend Rory is the hero in the next story. The guy who never dated any woman more than twice. What a surprise when he falls in love at first sight with Dani’s roommate, Krystal. Winning Krystal’s Heart should be fun to write.
